| ZOUKI SMART CARD
For several years our Smart Card has been applied across Bayside Health, Western Health, St Vincent’s, the Eye & Ear Hospital and Southern Health as a charge card facility - which effectively allows the hospital employee to make purchases without the need to carry cash.
There are obvious benefits of this in terms of security and convenience. The fact that this system is administered electronically via the computerised till and magnetised card makes the account-keeping far more efficient than any manual account process – which until 5 years ago posed the only available alternative for the hundreds of individuals who would themselves at opposite ends of the hospital from their wallets when the opportunity to have a coffee or buy their lunch presented itself!
Convenience
By asking you to 1)supply your credit card details at the point of application and 2)authorise us to directly debit this credit facility, you will have continuous use of the SmartCard facility without the need to manually “top up” your account. |

Control
Even with the convenience our card system offers you, the process is not so streamlined that you find yourself losing touch with your account status - which can often be the case with bills directly paid from bank accounts for which you only receive a monthly statement.
Every time you make a transaction at the till, you receive a tax invoice which clearly displays a running total of your account balance . You also receive a receipt each time your credit card is debited, along with information regarding any special cardholder offers (eg: 5% discount for the month of August).
Security
Security for the customer is of paramount concern to us. The moment a customer reports his/her card missing, we automatically freeze that account and issue a new card which assumes the original card’s balance and history. Since we have control over the administration of such matters, we can ensure that the customer's problems are dealt with in such a way that minimises their liability and any inconvenience.
Your private information is kept confidential in a safe secure environment and not disclosed to any other third parties without your permission.
